Reduce diesel heater exhaust noise with the new-generation Nordkapp exhaust muffler.

This upgraded rectangular silencer is designed to dampen exhaust pulses and make a diesel air heater’s exhaust note quieter and less intrusive. Its compact stainless steel body, offset inlet and outlet, and integrated mounting tabs make it easy to incorporate into a properly installed exhaust system.

Please note: An exhaust muffler reduces noise from the exhaust outlet, but it does not eliminate noise generated by the heater’s fuel pump or combustion fan.

Important: Exhaust components become extremely hot during operation. Install the muffler as part of a correctly routed and gas-tight exhaust system, secure it firmly and maintain the required clearance from combustible or heat-sensitive materials. Confirm compatibility before installation.

European Type Approval

A key distinction lies in the heater unit itself. Nordkapp® Air Heaters are designed to meet the rigorous tests required by the ECE R122 type approval for safety. They have been laboratory tested and received ECE R122 Type Approval (E24) in the European Union. 

In contrast, the widely sold Chinese diesel heaters do not meet these standards, and therefore, do not have similar approval.
