Instalar una calefacción estacionaria es una reforma del vehículo: debe legalizarse en la ITV tras la instalación y anotarse en la ficha técnica. Para homologarla, el equipo debe contar con las homologaciones UN ECE R122 y R10. Las calefacciones Nordkapp están ensayadas en laboratorio, certificadas y llevan los marcados permanentes en la placa del equipo.

For most campervans travelling in Southern and Central Europe, 2 kW is our recommended starting point, including many full-size Ducato, Boxer, Jumper and Sprinter conversions. Choose 5 kW for regular cold-weather use and consider 8 kW for large spaces or demanding Nordic and Lapland winters.
Yes. Every Nordkapp heater works directly from its physical control panel. You can start, stop and adjust it without Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a mobile network, a phone or an app. Wireless control is an optional additional way to operate the heater.
Bluetooth is for local control near the heater. A Wi-Fi + Bluetooth model can be controlled from anywhere when the heater is connected to an internet-enabled Wi-Fi network. GSM 4G provides remote control through the mobile network and requires an active compatible SIM card and mobile coverage.
Yes. Approved Nordkapp road-vehicle heater models are engineered and independently laboratory-tested to meet the relevant UN ECE approval requirements: R122 for vehicle heating systems and combustion heaters, and R10 for electromagnetic compatibility. These approvals provide the certification needed for a road-legal vehicle installation in the EU and UK.
Road-legal status applies to the approved heater model as part of a correctly completed installation. The heater must be installed according to its instructions and all applicable national, inspection and vehicle-specific requirements.
A diesel heater is a fuel-burning appliance installed in a road vehicle. UN ECE R122 addresses vehicle heating-system and combustion-heater safety, while R10 addresses electromagnetic compatibility. An uncertified heater or non-compliant installation can prevent the vehicle installation from being road legal and can also make it unsafe. If it contributes to a loss, an insurer may investigate the heater and installation and, depending on the policy and local law, may reduce or refuse a claim.
Every Nordkapp heater we sell includes the basic installation kit needed for a standard complete installation. Optional accessories can still be useful or required depending on the mounting surface, heater location, airflow layout and preferred control-panel position.
You can install the heater yourself if you are comfortable using basic tools, have practical hands-on skills and follow the installation manual carefully. It can also be fitted by a caravan workshop or vehicle service centre experienced with diesel heaters. Our European network includes more than 100 registered Nordkapp installers and service points.
Yes. A full range of common spare parts can be ordered from us. When appropriate, you can service the heater yourself with our instructions and step-by-step videos, or take it to a service point shown on our map. Always contact the workshop in advance to confirm that it can service your heater and to arrange the work.
Air GSM is available from stock. In-stock products are typically delivered in 1-4 business days in many of our closest European markets, although the exact estimate depends on the destination. For Gen 3 and other pre-order heaters, the current estimated warehouse arrival date is shown on the relevant product page.

This is an excellent unit. It feels robust safe and well built. I've used some of the cheaper heaters before and right out of the box you can tell this heater is in a whole different league. I'm really happy with this product and would highly recommend. The compliance with safety standards was a huge benefit for me.
