Gen 3 includes a larger muffler, flexible and extension exhaust pipes, improved clamps and heat-resistant fittings. The upgraded system is designed to reduce exhaust noise, vibration transfer and installation resonance.

Thermo Link: wireless thermostat accessory

Thermo Link is an optional accessory — it is not required to use the heater. It is a wireless remote-control device: when the heater is connected to Wi-Fi, you can start, stop and adjust it from anywhere with an internet connection.

Thermo Link also includes a wireless thermostat. Place it in the space you want to heat — for example inside a tent while the heater is outside — and use it to measure and regulate that space’s local temperature. Without Thermo Link, you can still control a compatible heater from your phone using the Nordkapp app, or directly from the control panel. Sold separately.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & control panel

Use the digital control panel without a phone. Bluetooth gives local control when you are nearby. When the heater is connected to an internet-enabled Wi-Fi network, you can start, stop and adjust it remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.

Use cases, altitude & accessories

Suitable for cars, vans, campervans, boats and work vehicles. Normal altitude versions are for use up to 2,500 m; high-altitude versions up to 5,500 m. Thermo Link is an optional accessory for compatible Wi-Fi + Bluetooth heaters and is not included in the standard package. It is also a wireless remote-control device for operating the heater from anywhere with an internet connection. Its built-in wireless thermostat can measure the local temperature in the space where it is placed. Without it, you can still control the heater from your phone using the Nordkapp app or directly from the control panel.

Questions before you order

Is this heater road legal in Europe and the UK?

Yes. Nordkapp Air Gen 3 is supplied with ECE R122 and ECE R10 approvals for vehicle use. Installation must follow the applicable instructions and local requirements.

Can I use the heater without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

Yes. Every Nordkapp heater can also be operated directly from its control panel. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth add remote-control options; they are not required for normal operation.

Which altitude version should I choose?

Normal altitude is intended for use up to 2,500 m. High altitude is intended for use up to 5,500 m and is a practical choice if you travel in higher regions or want greater flexibility for a future owner.

Who can install a Nordkapp heater?

You can install it yourself if you have suitable practical skills and follow the installation instructions. A caravan workshop, vehicle service centre or registered Nordkapp installer can also fit the heater.
